Event Details

Here is an opportunity to suffer in the freezing cold for the sake of art!

Bring your sturdy tripod and mittens on this cold winter night to capture Washington’s most famous nighttime view down the Reflecting Pool from the Lincoln Memorial, along with close-up photographs of the illuminated Lincoln statue, the haunted, fear-filled faces of the soldiers at the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the poignant Vietnam Women's Memorial, and the friendly Albert Einstein Memorial. (All of these memorials give MUCH more dramatic pictures at night than during daytime.) Emphasis will be on proper use of white balance settings for digital cameras and tungsten filters for film cameras.
